Requirements for registration of domain in Turkey (.com.tr domains)
Requirements:
1. Application form
2. Letter requesting the domain name registration, client can sign the English version, Corporate seal is a must, please see English translation and should be on official letterhead
3. Trademark application / registration certificate or the company’s commercial registration certificate in Turkey
OR
If the client does not have a Trademark or Commercial Registration in Turkey, the client can register the domain name with the followings:
- First Option: Trademark registration / application or Commercial Registration certificate in the origin country of the client and proof of use in Turkey such as invoices, agreements. (Proof of use in Turkey is a must)
- Second Option: Trademark registration / application in any other country and proof of use in Turkey such as invoices, agreements. (Proof of use in Turkey is a must)
