Adding a Subdomain

What is a subdomain?

Say your domain is domainame.ltd you would like to create news.domainname.tld, this is called a subdomain. 

To create a subdomain, please follow the steps below:

1. Log into cPanel (Services > My services > active > login to cPanel) and click on the "Subdomain" link


2. In the box enter the name of the subdomain, for example test. Select your domain (if you have more than 1) and click "Create". 

**Note that the Document Root will be added automatically. 






3. Your subdomain will be set up; note that there may be a temporary delay to access it (due to DNS propagation).
