AEserver had the privilege of being part of Domain Summit 2025 in London, a gathering that has now become one of the most important platforms for the global domain industry. The event was put together by our real-life friend Helmuts Meskonis, the mind behind Host Maria and DNForum. Every year this summit grows in scale and impact, and 2025 was no exception. With participants flying in from Australia to the Americas, the event once again proved why it is counted among the best in the industry.

Being a first-time attendee myself, the atmosphere was both exciting and reassuring. Meeting many familiar faces helped settle the nerves, while new connections gave us plenty to think about. While our own marquee event, Domain Days Dubai, is built around a mix of luxury, leisure, and business, the London summit was a sharp contrast, pure business. From the very first hour, we were connecting with C-level executives and decision-makers, sharing our vision for the .AE domain and building anticipation for the next edition of Domain Days Dubai.

We had our own booth at the summit and ensured that every visitor left with something memorable. Whether it was a conversation, a deal, or one of our wireless chargers that quickly became a hot favourite. Our purpose was simple

Day 0 A private gathering at Team Internet

Before the main event began, AEserver CEO Munir Badr attended an invite-only gathering at the Team Internet office. With just 50 invitations sent, it was an exclusive evening that felt more like a close-knit party than a corporate event. The setting provided the perfect opportunity to connect with event sponsors, meet new faces, and ease into the busy days ahead.

Day 1 Domain Summit officially begins

The first day opened with an inspiring address from Helmuts Meskonis, setting the tone for what was to come. Sessions throughout the day explored updates on the new gTLD round, measures for registry abuse prevention, market insights from the .UK and .UA zone reports and the growing influence of AI in branding and domain monetization to name a few.

For us, the true highlight was when AEserver CEO Munir Badr took the stage for his much-anticipated session on the MENA region report. His presentation offered registrars a clear picture of the opportunities in one of the world’s fastest-growing digital markets, and the response he received reaffirmed AEserver’s leadership in the region.

The day concluded in classic British style with an evening at a bustling local bar, where conversations continued over food, drinks, and laughter.

Day 2 Practical insights and closing conversations

The energy remained high on the second day as discussions shifted towards A B testing in hosting and domains, backend provider expectations, and entrepreneurial stories that resonated with the audience. Afternoon sessions focused on zone reports, registrar success stories, and new TLD launches, keeping the spotlight on innovation and growth.

The summit concluded with a powerful closing session, bringing two days of knowledge exchange, strategy building, and industry networking to a fitting end. Just like the first evening, the crowd gathered again for informal networking, an easy and enjoyable way to close what had been a remarkable summit.

We returned from London full of energy, ideas, and inspiration, and we are now gearing up to host the global domain community in Dubai later this year.
