Domain Days Dubai 2025: Connecting the Digital-Asset Future of the MEA Region

Domain Days Dubai 2025 once again proved why it has become the region’s most influential gathering for domains, hosting, and digital-asset infrastructure. What began as a simple idea during a casual discussion between our CEO, Munir Badr, and a friend has now evolved into a landmark industry event, one that the MEA region had long been missing.

How it all started?

From the very first edition, Domain Days didn’t just fill a gap in the market; it redefined what a high-calibre domain-industry event should look like. Now, in its third edition, AEserver is proud to say that we delivered an experience that set new benchmarks for quality, content and community engagement. This year’s focus went far beyond domains, exploring the broader foundation of the digital-assets era and the technologies shaping the future of MEA’s rapidly expanding online economy.

The Numbers

More than 300 participants joined us at the Marriott Resort, Palm Jumeirah, on 22–23 October 2025, representing some of the most respected voices in domaining, hosting, cloud, cybersecurity, Web3, and digital identity. We were honoured to welcome long-standing supporters like Hussein Kefel, Braden Pollock, Bashar Abdelhadi, Ayoub Kehel, Joe Alagna and many others whose presence continues to validate the value this community creates. The event began even before Day 1, with Day 0 dedicated to behind-the-scenes coordination as Team AEserver worked closely with sponsors, speakers, and the event-management team to fine-tune every aspect. The evening concluded with an exclusive dinner hosted by AEserver x 10Web, offering an intimate, relaxed setting for thoughtful conversations and early networking among industry leaders.

Day 1 Highlights

Day 1 opened with a warm welcome from our CEO, Munir Badr, followed by thought-provoking keynotes from Dr. Marwan Alzarouni of the Dubai Blockchain Center and Mohammad Ismail Alfalasi from the .ae domain name administration, part of the TDRA. Attendees witnessed the launch of Domora, a new domain-investment marketplace by Freename.io, and engaging presentations from Entri and Nova Registry on simplifying domain infrastructure for SaaS platforms. The conversations broadened into domaining strategies, MENA’s evolving namespace, the integration of DNS with blockchain, and Africa’s digital transformation led by the .KE Registry. The day concluded with a memorable dinner at Grill By the Sea, bringing together the entire attendee community in a beachside setting that perfectly complemented the spirit of collaboration.

Day 2 Highlights

Day 2 unfolded with equal energy, featuring a diverse range of sessions that spanned domain disputes, TLD market fit, cloud and edge innovation, digital identity, security posture in the UAE, content localisation, WordPress ecosystem trends and the increasing influence of young digital creators. Speakers including Sahar Khan, Charles Shaban, Dragan Milic, Bashar Al-Abdulhadi, Lars Sandbergen, Robert Jacobi, Alexander Gilmanov, M Asif Rahman and many others delivered insights that reflected how fast the domain and hosting industry is evolving. The day also delved into cybersecurity awareness, platform distribution strategy, and the practical realities of domain investment, with experts like Oliver Sild, Aron Meystedt, Monte Cahn and Nathan Parker sharing actionable takeaways for professionals navigating the global domain marketplace.

As the formal sessions wrapped up, the event transitioned into an unforgettable VIP yacht afterparty powered by Damora and Nova Registry. A spectacular evening where conversations continued against the backdrop of Dubai’s skyline. AEserver’s core team later regrouped for a private celebration dinner at the iconic Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, marking the perfect close to months of preparation and execution.

Key Take Aways

This year made one thing clear: Domain Days is no longer just an event about domains. It is a platform that connects every pillar of the digital-assets ecosystem. Right from hosting and cloud infrastructure to Web3, security, identity and emerging digital-economy models shaping MEA’s future. As organisers and gold sponsors, AEserver remains deeply committed to empowering this ecosystem and fostering a space where registrars, investors, SaaS builders, hosting companies and innovators can learn from each other and collaborate meaningfully. The 2025 edition proved that when premium content, a premium venue and the right community come together, the result is more than an event. It becomes an unforgettable experience.

With momentum high and feedback overwhelmingly positive, we are already preparing for the next edition. Domain Days Dubai 2026 is planned to take place one week before the ICANN AGM meeting in Oman, setting the stage for an even larger and more globally connected gathering. The digital future of MEA is accelerating and Domain Days will continue to be at the heart of it.
