A guide to writing a great prompt – Spark AI

6 min read

How to describe your business so Spark AI builds the right website first time

Introduction #

Your prompt is now the only thing Spark AI asks you for. There are no tone pickers, no page checklists and no settings questionnaire — you describe your business in one box, and Spark AI works out the rest: your pages, your layout, your colours, your copy and your imagery.

That makes the prompt worth a couple of minutes of thought. This guide shows you what to include, how to use the Enhance with AI button, and what a strong prompt looks like next to a weak one.

Where you enter your prompt #

From your AEserver Client Area, click Launch WP Builder. Spark AI opens on a single screen headed “Describe the website you want to build”.

The Spark AI prompt screen with a single text box, an Enhance with AI button and a Next button
Everything Spark AI needs comes from this one box.

What to put in your prompt #

Because the settings screens are gone, anything you care about needs to be stated in the prompt itself. Work through this list:

Include this Why it matters Example wording
What you actually do Drives your page structure and copy “We are a salad place with fresh salads and healthy food options”
Your business name Becomes your site title, header and browser tab “Dubai Salad Co.”
Your location Local relevance in copy, and a map or address block “in Dubai Marina”
Who you serve Sets the reading level and tone of the copy “for busy professionals and health enthusiasts”
Whether you sell online Determines whether a shop and cart are set up for you “customers can order online for delivery”
Currency, units, language Spark AI follows explicit instructions like this reliably “Show all pricing in AED”
Tone, if you have a preference Replaces the old tone picker “Keep the tone modern and health-conscious”
Anything visual you want Influences the hero image and photography style “The hero image should show a salad bowl on a table”

You do not need every row. Cover the first four and you will get a good site.

Use the Enhance with AI button #

If writing all of that feels like work, don’t. Type a short version and let Spark AI expand it for you.

  1. Type two or three plain sentences about your business.
  2. Click Enhance with AI.
  3. Wait a few seconds while it rewrites your description.
  4. Read what came back and edit anything that isn’t right.
  5. Click Next.
A short three-sentence prompt typed into the Spark AI prompt box
Start here — a short, plain description is enough.

Here is what happened when we entered a three-sentence prompt for a fictional salad restaurant and clicked Enhance with AI:

What we typed: Dubai Salad Co. We are a salad place with delicious fresh salads and healthy food options. Show all pricing in AED.

It takes a few seconds — this screen is normal.

What Spark AI produced: This is a professional and fresh multi-page website for Dubai Salad Co., a premium health-food restaurant in Dubai offering delicious, fresh salads. The site features an interactive menu with all pricing clearly displayed in AED, alongside integrated online ordering, contact information, physical address, and opening hours. The tone is modern and health-conscious, designed to persuade busy professionals and health enthusiasts to order fresh meals. The hero image should show a salad bowl on a table.

Enhance with AI filled in the tone, audience, page structure and hero image on its own.

Notice that it inferred the tone, the target audience, the page structure and even the hero image — all the things the old settings screens used to ask about. It also kept our AED instruction, which is exactly the behaviour you want.

Two things to know about Enhance with AI #

  • It is optional. A detailed prompt you wrote yourself works just as well.
  • The button greys out after it runs, so read the result before clicking Next. The enhanced text is fully editable — click into the box and change anything you disagree with.

Weak prompts vs. strong prompts #

Business type Weak prompt Strong prompt
Restaurant I have a restaurant We are an Italian family restaurant in Dubai serving authentic pasta, pizza and seafood. We cater to families and couples looking for a cosy dining experience. Show all pricing in AED.
Law firm I’m a lawyer We are a corporate law firm in Abu Dhabi specialising in business contracts, mergers and commercial litigation for UAE-based companies. Keep the tone formal and authoritative. We do not sell anything online — we want enquiries by form.
Gym I run a gym We are a women-only fitness studio in Sharjah offering yoga, Pilates and HIIT classes. Our focus is empowering women through health and fitness. Customers should be able to book classes online.
Online store I sell things We design and sell handmade leather handbags from our Dubai workshop. Customers buy directly from the site. Show all pricing in AED and include a size and care guide.

The pattern is simple: the strong prompts say what, where, for whom and what should happen on the site.

What happens after you click Next #

Spark AI builds the whole site automatically. You’ll see it work through each stage:

  • Booting things up — preparing your WordPress install
  • Setting the website style — choosing your colours, fonts and layout
  • Adding page: … — creating and writing each page in turn

Spark AI decides which pages your business needs and builds them one by one.

The whole build usually takes 60 to 90 seconds. You no longer choose your pages — Spark AI works them out from your prompt. For our salad restaurant it created Shop, Menu, Testimonials, About and Contact, and set up a shopping cart because the prompt mentioned online ordering.

Did it get the details right? #

Specific instructions in your prompt do carry through to the finished site. Our “Show all pricing in AED” instruction produced a full menu priced in dirhams without any further prompting:

The generated Dubai Salad Co. menu page showing salads priced in AED
The AED instruction from the prompt carried through to every menu item.

Tips for better results #

  • Be concrete, not aspirational. “We sell handmade leather handbags” beats “we are passionate about quality craftsmanship”.
  • State the practical stuff explicitly. Currency, language, opening hours, whether you take bookings — Spark AI follows direct instructions well.
  • Say if you don’t want a shop. If your prompt implies selling, a shop and cart get created. If you only want enquiries, say so.
  • Don’t over-write it. A focused paragraph beats a page of detail. Use Enhance with AI rather than trying to think of everything yourself.
  • You are not locked in. Everything can be changed afterwards with the AI Agent, and you can reset and start over as many times as you like.

Not happy with the result? #

You have three options, in increasing order of effort:

  1. Try a different design. As soon as your site is ready the AI Agent offers alternative designs built with your own content. No rebuild needed.
  2. Edit what’s wrong. Use Quick Edit for text and the AI Agent for everything else.
  3. Reset and start over with a better prompt. Your domain, hosting and account are untouched.

If you’re still not getting what you want, contact AEserver support and we’ll help you shape the prompt.
