AEserver Marketplace is a curated venue for buying and selling premium .ae and other UAE-region domains. Buyers pay AEserver directly through their client area. The seller confirms the sale, hands over the EPP code and a signed transfer declaration, and AEserver moves the domain to the buyer inside our system. The seller payout is then settled through escrow.com. Buyer protection: AEserver holds the payment and refunds in full if the seller doesn’t accept in time. Seller protection: escrow.com guarantees the payout once the domain is delivered.
Buying a domain #
For buyers, the whole flow happens inside AEserver. You never need to register at escrow.com, click any external links, or deal with a third-party service.
Browse the marketplace #
Use the search box, character-length filter, and price range to narrow down. Every listing shows the asking price in your selected currency (AED or USD); switch at the top of the page and prices reformat instantly.
Open the listing #
The detail page shows the seller, the price in both currencies, a verified seller badge, and a “Purchase protection” panel that summarises the buyer-protection flow. If anything is unclear, the Need help? WhatsApp panel on the right gets you a real person in business hours.
Click “Buy now” and sign in #
“Buy now” takes you into your AEserver client area. If you don’t have an account yet, register, it takes about a minute. An invoice is generated for the listed price.
AEserver holds your payment #
Your money sits with AEserver, not with the seller. The seller is notified through their dashboard and has up to 7 days to accept the sale and hand over the domain. There’s nothing for you to do in this window; we drive the process from here.
The domain lands in your account #
Once the seller accepts and submits the EPP code plus the signed transfer declaration, AEserver moves the domain to your AEserver account internally. No registrar switch, no DNS downtime, no auth-code dance on your side. You’ll see it in My Domains, ready to manage like any other domain in your portfolio.
Selling a domain #
Only domains registered at AEserver under your account can be listed on the marketplace. We don’t accept domains from third-party registrars. Sellers from anywhere in the world are welcome; payouts run through your own escrow.com account.
Sign in and open My Marketplace #
From your client area, go to My Marketplace. The first time you visit, you’ll be asked to set up your escrow.com payout email: this is where you’ll be paid for every sale, and AEserver routes the payout there automatically.
Confirm your payout email #
Enter the email tied to your escrow.com account (or the one you’ll use to register, if you don’t have one yet) and click Save. We send you a confirmation link to make sure you actually control that inbox.
Submit your first listing #
Pick a domain from your portfolio, choose a currency (AED or USD), and set an asking price. That’s it: no minimum offer, no auction setup, just a clean Buy-Now listing.
We review and publish #
The AEserver team reviews every listing within one business day. Most go live as-is; a small number get a quick price-sanity message before they’re approved. Once approved, the listing is visible to the world and indexable by search engines.
A buyer paid: accept the sale in your Sold tab #
When a buyer pays for your listing, a new row appears in the Sold tab inside My Marketplace. Open it, review the details, and click Accept to confirm you’re ready to transfer the domain. You have up to 7 days to accept.
Hand over the EPP code and signed declaration #
The moment you accept, AEserver opens the escrow.com transaction in your name and funds it. In the same Sold tab, provide two things:
- The EPP code (auth code) for the domain. You can generate it from My Domains if you don’t have it on hand.
- The signed transfer declaration. AEserver auto-generates a UAE-style PDF in the Sold tab; download it, sign, and upload it back.
Once AEserver verifies both, we push the domain to the buyer’s AEserver account internally. The transfer is same-day, no external registrar handoff, no DNS downtime.
Get paid through escrow.com #
Right after the transfer completes, AEserver triggers your escrow.com payout. You’ll receive an email from escrow.com with the transaction link. Everything from that point (identity check, choosing the withdrawal method, receiving funds) happens inside your escrow.com account; AEserver doesn’t see or handle the payout itself. Kindly refer to the Escrow.com’s Terms of Services
Trust & security #
Buyer protection: AEserver holds the payment #
When you pay for a listing, the money is held by AEserver, not the seller. We only release the domain to you once the seller has accepted, provided the EPP code, and signed the transfer declaration. If the seller doesn’t accept the sale within 7 days, you get an automatic full refund: no support ticket required. For any other issue (wrong domain, anomaly after transfer, etc.), contact AEserver support; we mediate every dispute and act as the neutral party between buyer and seller.
Seller protection: escrow.com guarantees the payout #
Once you accept a sale, AEserver opens an escrow.com transaction with escrow.com, the world’s largest regulated online escrow service (licensed in California, USA), and funds it before you hand over the domain. By the time you provide the EPP code and signed declaration, the money is already sitting in escrow.com, neutral and protected. The payout is guaranteed by an independent third party, not by AEserver’s promise.
Domains never leave AEserver during transfer #
Both buyer and seller keep the domain at AEserver throughout. The seller provides the EPP code as a formal hand-over, AEserver verifies it, and the registrant change happens internally. No external registrar push, no DNS downtime, no waiting on a gaining-registrar’s polling window.
Fees & payouts #
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Listing fee | Free. List as many domains as you own, for as long as you want. |
| Marketplace commission | 20% of the sale price, deducted from the seller’s payout. Always shown at checkout and inside your seller dashboard before you submit, so there are no surprises at payout time. |
| Escrow.com fees | Covered by AEserver out of the marketplace commission; no extra deduction from the seller. |
| Payout channel | All seller payouts run through escrow.com. The seller picks the withdrawal method (wire, PayPal, Wise, or escrow.com balance) inside their own escrow.com dashboard. |
| Currency | Listings can be priced in AED or USD. Buyers see both, side by side, in the visitor’s selected display currency. Payouts are settled in USD via escrow.com. |
| Seller location | Sellers from any country are welcome. The only requirement is an escrow.com account (free to register). |
Common questions #
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Can I list a domain registered elsewhere? | Not yet. The marketplace only accepts domains already in your AEserver portfolio. To sell a domain registered elsewhere, transfer it to AEserver first; the transfer is free for most TLDs. |
| Can I make an offer below the asking price? | All listings are Buy-Now at a fixed price. We removed the offer/counter-offer flow to keep the experience fast and unambiguous. If you really want to negotiate, contact the seller directly (sellers are visible on each listing). |
| What happens if the seller never accepts? | If the seller doesn’t click Accept in their Sold tab within 7 days of payment, the sale is automatically cancelled and AEserver refunds the buyer in full. No support ticket needed; the refund is processed automatically. |
| What if I (the buyer) change my mind after paying? | Marketplace purchases are final once the seller has accepted and the domain has been transferred to your account. Before the seller accepts, contact AEserver support and we’ll cancel and refund. |
| What if I (the seller) change my mind after submitting a listing? | You can withdraw any unsold listing anytime, from My Marketplace → Listings. Withdrawn listings are removed from the public catalog immediately. Once a buyer has paid, you’re on the 7-day clock to accept or decline. |
| How long does the whole sale take? | From the buyer’s Buy-now click to the domain landing in their account: typically 1-3 business days when the seller is responsive, up to 7 days at the outside. The seller payout via escrow.com follows another 1-2 business days. |
| Is buyer payment info shared with the seller? | No. Sellers see the sale row in their Sold tab (domain, sale price, sale date) and the status of the escrow.com payout between AEserver and themselves. AEserver handles all buyer payment data; sellers never see card numbers, billing addresses, or buyer contact details. |
| What if there’s a dispute? | Contact AEserver support. We mediate every dispute between buyer and seller. Escrow.com is the channel for paying the seller and isn’t involved in the dispute process; buyers don’t have an escrow.com touchpoint at all. |
| Do I need to be in the UAE to sell? | No. Sellers from anywhere in the world can list. The only payout requirement is an escrow.com account; KYC, withdrawal method, and money-receiving procedures are handled inside escrow.com directly. AEserver’s job is to put the money into escrow.com and confirm the transaction; the rest is between you and escrow.com. |
