Transfer .ae domain from tasjeel.ae

5 min read

Overview #

To transfer a .ae domain from Tasjeel (tasjeel.ae) to AEserver, you need to obtain an EPP (Authorization) code from Tasjeel. This code is like a password that proves you own the domain and authorizes the transfer.

The process is straightforward: you request the EPP code from Tasjeel by opening a support ticket in your client area, they send it to you, and then you use that code at AEserver to initiate the transfer.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Before requesting the EPP code, make sure your domain is unlocked and any WHOIS privacy protection is disabled. You can ask Tasjeel support to do this in the same ticket, the message template below already covers it.

Part 1: Request the EPP Code from Tasjeel #

The only official way to request an EPP (Auth) code from Tasjeel is through their client portal support ticket system. Follow these steps carefully.

1

Log In to Tasjeel and Open the Support Menu #

Open your browser and go to https://www.tasjeel.ae, then log in to your client area using the email and password you used when registering the domain.

Once you are on My Dashboard, look at the top navigation menu and click on “Support”. A dropdown menu will appear. Click on “Open Ticket”.

The red arrows in the screenshot above show exactly where to click, first “Support” in the top menu, then “Open Ticket” in the dropdown.

2

Choose the Department #

On the next page you will see a “Choose Department” screen with two options: Sales and Customer Support. Click on “Customer Support”.

💡 TIP: On the left side of this page you will see your “Support Pin” (shown as ****60). Tasjeel agents may ask for this pin to verify your identity, click “Show full pin” to reveal it if support requests it later.
3

Fill in the Ticket Information #

You will now see the Ticket Information form. Most fields are filled automatically based on your account. Make sure they are set as follows:

NameYour full name (auto-filled from your account)
Email AddressYour registered email address (auto-filled)
DepartmentCustomer Support (already selected from the previous step)
Related ServiceSelect the domain you want to transfer from the dropdown (e.g., Domain - yourdomain.ae (Active))
PrioritySelect High
⚠️ IMPORTANT: The Related Service field is crucial, it tells Tasjeel which domain you are asking about. If you have multiple domains, make sure to choose the correct one.
4

Write the Subject and Message #

Scroll down to the Message section. Fill in the subject and message as follows:

Subject:

Request for EPP Code

Message body (replace yourdomain.ae with your actual domain name):

Hello,

Please provide the EPP (Auth) code for my domain yourdomain.ae.

Also ensure the domain is unlocked and WHOIS protection (if any) is disabled for transfer.

Looking forward to your confirmation.

Thank you.

5

Submit the Ticket #

Once everything is filled in, click the green “Submit” button at the bottom of the page. You will see a confirmation that your ticket has been created, and it will also appear under Support → Tickets in your dashboard.

⏳ Waiting for the EPP Code #

After submitting the ticket, Tasjeel support will review and process your request. You will receive the EPP (Authorization) code in one of two ways:

By email, sent to the email address associated with your Tasjeel account

In the support ticket reply, check Support → Tickets in your dashboard for updates

💡 TIP: Response time is typically 1–3 business days. If you do not hear back within 3 business days, reply to your existing ticket with a polite follow-up asking for an update. Do not create a duplicate ticket, it may slow things down.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Keep your EPP code safe and private. Do not share it with anyone you do not trust, the EPP code acts as a password for your domain, and anyone who has it can initiate a transfer. The code is also usually time-limited, so use it within a few days of receiving it.

Part 2: Transfer the Domain to AEserver #

Once you have received the EPP code from Tasjeel, follow these steps to complete the transfer at AEserver.

6

Go to the AEserver Transfer Page #

Open your browser and go to:

https://www.aeserver.com/transfer-your-domain-names/

You will see the AEserver domain transfer page with a search field where you can enter your domain name.

7

Enter Your Domain Name and Click SEARCH #

In the search field, type your full domain name including the .ae extension (for example, yourdomain.ae) and click the red “SEARCH” button.

8

Enter the EPP / Authorization Code #

After clicking SEARCH, the “Single domain transfer” panel will appear with two fields:

Domain Name, your domain name will already be filled in

Authorization Code, paste the EPP code you received from Tasjeel here

After pasting the EPP code, click the blue “Add to Cart” button.

💡 TIP: When transferring a .ae domain to AEserver, your registration period is automatically extended by 1 year, so you are paying for a renewal, not just a transfer.
9

Complete the Order #

After clicking “Add to Cart”, you will go through the standard AEserver checkout process, similar to registering a new domain:

1. Review your cart, confirm the domain name and transfer fee

2. Log in to your AEserver account, or create a new one if you do not have one yet

3. Enter your contact details, name, address, phone number, and email

4. Choose a payment method and pay the transfer/renewal fee

5. Confirm the order

10

Wait for the Transfer to Complete #

The domain transfer process from Tasjeel to AEserver is usually completed within a few hours to a few business days. You will receive email notifications from both Tasjeel and AEserver about the transfer status.

💡 TIP: After the transfer is complete, log in to your AEserver account and verify that the domain appears in your dashboard. If you were using custom DNS records at Tasjeel (A records, MX records, CNAMEs, TXT, etc.), you may need to configure them again at AEserver, check your old zone before the transfer completes so you do not lose any settings.
